Wonderful facial. That dexcom clip is really sticking out of the side of his shirt in this picture!?
Let me help..I don't think you have enough.

We are still working on the pool.. (18ft.round/52" deep) Gave to us by a friend a couple of years ago. It was a tiny bit high on one side so we took it all down and are using a transit to level this evening and will put it back up and hopefully by tomorrow evening it will be ready!

We have our Endo. appt. next week. Summer is going by so fast! Isaac was diagnosed 7 months ago.
I am so thankful to have found the wonderful blogs of others that are telling their stories about living with diabetes! The "DOC" :) what a blessing!!

The boys and their new critters :) Football Season!!

The boys and their new kittens.

We have been busy working in the garden. Canning alot. Putting a swimming pool up.
Isaac may start football practice Monday. My boys love sports and have played lots of football, baseball and basketball in the past. This will be the first time since diagnosis that Isaac will be playing football. He will be playing on our local jr. high team. Lots to learn with this new adventure-figuring it all out..keeping the lows at bay....but I will not let diabetes hold him back from anything. Jacob has already been practicing with the high school. I always enjoyed football-but when my boys are playing it makes me nervous..LOL

A few weeks ago after church Jacob and Abram caught a snake by the creek.. I REALLY do not like snakes :)
But they like taking a closer look...haha They released it a short time later. Yep..They are really good at knowing which snakes to pick up or not..LOL We have rattlesnakes/copperheads around here also!!
With three boys we have had lots of wild critters being observed/handled around here...

Putting up the harvest

Been busy...  Picking and canning green beans..

Putting peppers in the freezer for soups/chili.

Our different "Bands 4 Life" bands so far...

On the left side of the picture are Isaac's thigh bands, in the middle is his stomach band and on the right are his arm bands..He wears these over his pods. He is so very active, and feels that the pods are more secure with these on :)
You can purchase these bands or many others @

Dexcom wave pictue..

Too bad it doesn't always look like flatline...
The endo made a change in his nighttime basal...They reduced it alittle..
He was hanging around in the 80's @ night for a few days..
