I am always so thankful to receive these diabetes supplies for Isaac. Every three months we get new shipments of Isaac's Omnipod Insulin Pumps(50) and his Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitor Sensors(16)..this time he also got a new Dexcom CGM System since the warranty ran out on his old one. This is the first time that we have gotten the protective barrier and adhesive remover wipes.
I am so thankful for my husband's insurance and the ability to purchase these tools that make living with type 1 diabetes alittle easier!
Thank God for INSULIN and all of his many blessings :)

Making Homemade Chili for supper
I made chili for supper this evening.
I add navy beans, kidney beans and our garden canned tomatoes to my slow cooker.I brown our home grown beef :) (sometimes I use venison, elk or bear) and add chopped bell peppers/onions and spices.
Then I add the meat mixture to the bean mixture in our slow cooker and let simmer for a few hours. I usually serve this with shredded cheddar cheese and crackers or cornbread.

Making Apple Pie :)
I made an apple pie this evening.
The apple pie with the bottom crust and filling.
The pie with the top crust added and air vents :)
I tore the dough while removing it from the roller to place on the pie!! It makes it kind of ugly....
~I was in a hurry...lol~
Ready to be baked.
Fresh from the oven.
Still warm and ready to served with ice cream...
